Hah. Do you think it was a good relationship? Whirlwind? Are they still friends etc etc? I am fine with anyway you want to play it? I imagine if it was an older relationship like when Les was around 18 or 19, she could be like DAT IDIOT. He used to be even more Les and immature than he remains today. But he's fun! He probs took her to the boardwalk some or traipsing through woods. Though....he would've been freaked out by her death stuff. You know how he is.

I dunno she's not a TERRIBLE person, just her personality is different but I feel like maybe boy-Les and her would have clicked, so maybe it was good? If they were dating around the time his mom got sick, Michaela probably felt that his mom's time was coming and that was way too deep so she was outies. If they dated afterwards, she may have been drawn to him because he was still haunted by death. Of course, she probably doesn't just go "Yo bf I can talk to the dead" but she's pretty obviously intrigued by death. So maybe it didn't last long because lol Les is NOPE about that shit~

That would be interesting if they dated just a little in high school and she noped out on him. In my head I think Les right after his mom died until probably he was late-18 or 19 was completely off doing who knows what and just failing at life. He was like depressed and just sad as all get out, and he wouldn't have been too interested in dating anyone?? Eventually he managed to get himself together, sort of. Maybe 21 and on he was able to actually date girls and be a somewhat functioning person. But yeahhhh he was totally haunted by all of that for years, even now, so if she was drawn to that, his spirit is like totes haunted by that. Boy was messed up.

Let's say that they dated just before his mom got sick, because I figure Michaela actually liked Les and their personalities probably get along alright. So once she started ~smelling~ Death she had to end it before it got bad because Michaela can't handle emotions, much less someone she actually cares about.

She probs kept her distance from him after that, especially if he separated himself from everyone. Now he's getting his shit together she's going to be super confused by him like wtf why would you want to be Responsible and an Adult?????? She's probably more willing to talk to him now though since he has way less death surrounding him and he's pulling himself together. I'm gonna say Michaela who normally is drawn to people who have death in their life, withdrew from Les because she cares about him. But she ain't gonna show that B(

EDIT bc ALSO Les realizing his role as gamekeeper or starting to step into that role, it'd be interesting if he found something about Grim Reapers and some connection to the Méndez' and brought that to Michaela's attention. BECAUSE SHE GOTTA FIND OUT SOMEHOW.

I don't want him to just scaddle since he was supposed to be there during Corry's recovery etc etc. But I already have all the apt pics picked out. Once he's in his new place I plan to pick up the discovering his past plot more~

I HAD A THOUGHT! Well, partly a question, partly a thought. Do Michaela's abilities extend just to ghosts or can she sense/see any sort of presence?

Because I have a long term plot with Joel that I'd like to start in the next month or so, where something he accidentally summoned when he was seventeen comes back to sort of... lay its claim on him. It's not quite a ghost and not quite a demon, more of just a dark sort of thing that shouldn't be in our world and it wants Joel because he's the one who brought it here. I just thought it might be interesting if that's the sort of thing she might be able to see/sense and maybe even (reluctantly) warn Joel about. :D

Yes! Michaela is definitely in touch with dark things in general. She may not see this thing as clearly as ghosts, but she'll definitely sense it. Especially since she's unknowingly connected to the basic functions of the balance between the living and what ever else is out there. If it's bad, it'll have a pull to her. Her role's not religiously affiliated with anything, so in my head, her powers aren't limited to just "spirits". Especially if it's a bad and wants to mess with the living~

So yeah, anytime you need Michaela for this plot she's good!

Yaaaaay, this is so awesome. :DDD I wanted to have some way for Joel to sort of know what's coming for him, but I couldn't figure it out, so this would be perfect. Amazing, I'll let you know when things start to pick up.

Also, I saw the other comment about making Spencer trade for food or something and Joel would supply her with cookies and banana bread FOR LIFE if she helped Spencer in any way. JUST SAYIN', witchy sorta baker at her service~
